Barbie Casselman
Barbie Casseleman

During the past twenty-five years Barbie Casselman has been teaching Canadians how to eat right, lose weight and feel great. Trough her Toronto-based nutrition practice she has counseled over 6,000 clients. Barbie’s experience has ranged from acting as a nutritionist to several of Toronto’s leading health clubs to the tailoring of individual diets for those with serious medical conditions. The development of a “nutritional lifestyle” to promote healthy weight loss and to then maintain a healthy weight is Barbie’s’ primary focus.

In 1990 Barbie developed her own line of Spa cuisine for a “gourmet” Toronto food store. She then went on to help Loblaws develop and market the President’s Choice Too Good To Be True line of foods. Too Good To Be True was a first for Canada in the production of superior tasting, healthy food products for a retail supermarket chain.

Barbie currently consults to Canadian corporations, hotels and restaurants. A frequent lecturer and media spokesperson, for five years Barbie hosted her own column, Nutrition Tips, on CBC TV’s Morning News and News world.

She is author of Good For You Cooking, A healthy Eating Guide, (Random House, Canada), and a co-author of Eat Right For Life: Prostate Cancer Nutrition and You
